sidewalk sale season

Ooh, nice alliteration.

Anyhoo, I went downtown today to look for a digital camera. Came back empty handed seeing as I know nothing about them and I can't understand any information from a Chinese sales assistant (if anyone has any suggestions or recommendations as to brand, model etc,  please share). Walking down the main street there were lots of street vendors, displaying their goods on blankets on the street. Mostly bracelets, necklaces and other little knick-knacks. But we did come across something a bit more... unique. There were a couple of people selling some interesting items, for what I can only assume to be medicinal purposes. There were very large mushrooms, antlers, and horns. One the the most intriguing items though, was some sort of paw. Perhaps a tiger's? Definitely something big and cat-like. And it wasn't so much just a paw, but more like a third of a leg. We even saw a couple of goat heads. Not a goat though, something with curved horns. Very strange.

I think they'll make great souvenirs! hahaha!

I feel sorry for the poor animals that are missing their body parts. I\'m thinking that they could probably use them and you should go buy them so you can return them to their rightful owners. ;-)

BTW, I fixed the title of your page in my links. No more hot teens and cheap flights. Take care.

Well if your buying a ditigtal camera here are some things to consider. The higher the mega pixel the better the quality of the picture if you plan on printing them out on photo paper.Make sure the memory cards are upgradable. My camera can\'t take memory cards because its on board so I\'m limited to taking a certain amount of pictures. If you buy a camera that\'s takes either double A or triple A batteries - buy rechargable ones - you\'ll save money in the long run. Digital camera\'s suck the juices right out of them like a vampire at a blood bank!If you want to shoot some video you might want to buy an all in one camera that can take pictures/shoot videos(usually 30 second clips in avi format) & a web cam. My camera does all that!Hope that helps!

Camera suggestion (and only a suggestion) Nikon CoolPix 4600 It\'s not too expensive it get\'s great reviews and it takes SD memory cards which get cheaper everyday. Course this is from a guy who takes pictures with his fricking Cell phone. Crappy ones at that.

best place by far to get advice on cameras is this site .http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/an excellent camera for the money appears to be the casio 750 . lots of features . high mp , good quality images , very long battery life and uses sd cards . not reviewed on this site yet officially but go to the casio forum from the mainpage .

My personal opinion from my own personal experiences with digicams is that Kodak and HP have really cheap lenses and are not the greatest for quality and clarity. Your best bet is either nikon, canon, or fuji. Another thing that I found out on my searches is that Mega pixels is not that important unless you will be enlarging your pictures. A 3 or 4 megapixel camera is all you need for 8x10 enlargements (which is what the majority of people will use). Unless you plan to make poster size pictures then by all means go for more Mega Pixels! Sorry, one last thing before I go...the size of your LCD screen will also affect how many batteries you will go through. Good luck with your searching :)Cheers!
